For my Bar Mitzvah Project, I would like to raise money for the Israel ParaSport Center.

After my Rabbi introduced me to the organization and I read more about it on their site, I felt an immediate connection to the cause. I am an avid sports fan and love basketball. I understand firsthand the impact sports can have on someone’s physical and mental well-being. I want to help others be able to experience that and have those opportunities no matter what limitations they experience. Being active and being part of a community and/or team can do so much for someone. I see this firsthand when I volunteer at an organization in my community called Top of the Key. This organization provides inclusive basketball opportunities to children with special needs.

Since the October 7th tragedies, I have wanted to find a way to help Israel and its victims. By supporting this important organization I am able to combine my passion for sports with my passion to help rebuild and support Israel. I hope to raise a lot of money for the Hope in Motion campaign through my DLev Madness Bracket during the NCAA March Madness basketball tournament.
