Help us bring this vital project to the finish line!

At the Israel ParaSport Center in Ramat Gan, our Aquatic Center has been a space for recovery and empowerment for decades.

When a person with disabilities first comes to The Center, our pools are their first stop on their rehabilitative journey. The act of swimming uses every muscle, helping them build strength while also granting a freedom of movement they may not be able to experience on land. For many of our community members, the pool may be the only place they can experience the thrills of play, comradeship, and success. For these reasons, we believe swimming to be the most important athletic activity for people with disabilities, and consider our Aquatic Center to be an essential piece of The Center.

Revitalizing an Essential Hub for Healing and Growth

The Aquatic Center’s two pools are uniquely designed to accommodate the complex needs of children and adults with a wide range of disabilities. However, despite continuous upkeep, our semi-Olympic and children’s pools are aging and in need of critical repair. This challenge has been exacerbated by the increased costs of construction and maintenance after October 7 and the following war.

The Center is reimagining the Luski Aquatic Center as a modern, accessible, and energy efficient facility ready to serve the next generation.

Our plans include:

  • Complete renovation of the semi-Olympic and children’s pools
  • New mechanical rooms, state-of-the-art filtration, heating, and plumbing
  • Solar panel systems to improve energy efficiency and reduce cost
  • Accessibility enhancements: ramps, lifts, automatic doors, and more

Help us raise the final $2.4 million needed to transform the Aquatic Center — and double your impact while doing it.

Built in 1966, the semi-Olympic Atlanta Community Pool is used daily by children and adults as part of the Aquatic Center, welcoming over 1,000 swimmers each week.

Built in the 1980s, the Jimmy Caplan Children’s Pool is where children from our kindergarten begin swimming at the age of 3. It also serves as the home for our hydrotherapy sessions.
