For 64 years, the Israel ParaSport Center (formerly Israel Sport Center for the Disabled) has provided physical and emotional rehabilitative services to over 3,000 people with disabilities annually, with a focus on adaptive athletics to “Empower Life Without Limits.”
After October 7th, the Shesek program was created to provide vital support to Nova survivors, displaced families from the north and south, wounded IDF soldiers, and entire families affected by the attacks. Participants receive PTSD, emotional, and social support, legal services, as well as physical rehabilitation for their injuries. In addition, the Israel ParaSport Center sends therapists and other staff to 40 remote locations around Israel each week to meet people where they are, sometimes driving 2 hours in each direction to provide critical services.
The dedicated staff has been working tirelessly for 14 months and we want to show them gratitude and care for the caregivers with a special dinner in their honor during Chanukah.
Thank you for your support!
