Zach Ufberg

Hi, my name is Zach Ufberg, and for my Bar Mitzvah project, I am proud to partner with the Israel ParaSport Center—an organization that combines three things I am passionate about: sports, helping people, and Israel.

Sports have always played a huge role in my life. I love playing hockey, baseball, lacrosse, and football, and I believe that everyone should have the chance to experience the joy of sports, no matter their circumstances. That’s why I am especially inspired by the athletes at the Israel ParaSport Center—individuals who overcome physical disabilities and permanent injuries to compete with passion and determination. Their perseverance proves that no challenge is too great when you love the game.

For my project, I have chosen to raise funds to support these programs so that athletes with disabilities can continue playing the sports they love. The money I raise will help provide: Specialized sports equipment, Transportation to training and competitions, and Team uniforms to name a few.

I believe that anything is possible with the right support, and the Israel ParaSport Center is making dreams come true for athletes of all ages. My goal is to help ensure that these athletes in Israel have the same opportunities as I do to play, compete, and thrive.
